When it comes to Halloween, our family doesn’t mess around. It’s our time to shine in all our creative, design-loving glory. The Pottery Barn Kids costume collection is the perfect place to start. With so many characters and themes to consider—from a thick, fluffy lion and a magical fairy to an adorable parrot and a classic pumpkin—our kids had a blast picking their favorites. Just look at those faces!

What’s great about each costume is the attention to detail, the quality, and the curated collection of unique, lovable characters. Whether you have two mischievous siblings best represented as the infamous troublemaking Thing 1 and Thing 2 or you’re simply going for adorable (a baby as a puppy!), PBK has the perfect costume for any kiddo at any age.

It’s a shame Halloween lasts for only for a day—but maybe it doesn’t have to! Enjoy the weeks leading up to the holiday with our favorite family tradition: visiting a pumpkin patch.

Each year, our family looks forward to the trip to Burt’s Farm near Dawsonville, Georgia. Not only do we get to pick our own prized pumpkin—the smallest child inevitably gravitates toward the largest one, right?—but we learn about growing food, we’re supporting local farms, and we participate in a host of activities. It’s an action-packed day of learning and fun!
